Who are we?

SBCares is a Santa Barbara Jewish community partnership.  We work on programming efforts to  fundraise for humanitarian aid and family sponsorship, and to educate our community with the aim of inspiring our friends and neighbors to help refugees find safety and rebuild their lives.  We offer an array of opportunities to volunteer in ways that align with each member’s interests and skills.

OUR CURRENT PROJECT

Presently a number of Unitarian Society members are supporting an immigrant family. There are 8 more months to their commitment. They are a really special family. The Unitarian Society has set up an Immigrant Justice Fund, which means donations are tax deductible. The family is here legally. More details to follow.
